Happy Birthday Sis

The my best friend... my sister...

Happy Birthday....

Our dad's last words were, "Take care of each other." and that is our promise to him.

But really we always have....

Like the time I helped her take a bath.. (outside, naked in a wagon)

or the time I encouraged you to be brave... (I guess that didn't mean putting your hand through the slot of the door--the policeman could not figure out how we did that.)

Oh, I'm sure the list goes on.. but I have to redeem myself somewhere here....

But no matter what or how mean I was.. .. No one would ever hurt you... I always took care of them....I was a mean little snot....

So Dad, rest assure, I will take care of her...

I love you Lynn

Happy Birthday...

AND THEY BECAME ONE...

BLESSINGS TO MY PRECIOUS NEPHEW (TAYLOR) & HIS NEW WIFE (CANDACE) AS THEY ARE JOINED AS HUSBAND AND WIFE....

IT WAS A SHORT HONEYMOON AS HE HAD TO FLY BACK TO THE AIR FORCE TO SERVE OUR COUNTRY...
So, do you think we have any good people left in this world??

SOMEONE SLIPPED A BEAUTIFUL CARD UNDER THEIR DOOR DURING THEIR HONEYMOON.
When they opened their card, it read "THANK YOU FOR FIGHTING FOR OUR COUNTRY, AND MAY GOD-BLESS YOUR MARRIAGE. ALSO, IN THE CARD CONTAINED ENOUGH MONEY FOR AN EXTRA NIGHT AT THE HOTEL.
(TWO HEARTS, NOW ONE, GENTLY SMILED AND THE AMAZEMENT OF GOD'S LOVE.)

TAYLOR'S GREAT GRANDDAD, GRANDDAD(OUR DAD) AND HIS DAD ALL SERVED IN THE AIR FORCE. HEARING OF WAR, FIGHTING AND TRAGEDY.

I AM SO PROUD OF YOU---MY SWEET NEPHEW....AND CANDACE... NOW IN OUR LIFE'S---YOU ARE BEAUTIFUL AND WILL MAKE A WONDERFUL WIFE...

MY PRAYERS ARE WITH YOU BOTH AS YOU FOLLOW OUR LORDS PLAN FOR YOUR LIFE. <><

PrAy FoR TaYlOr

My Nephew, Taylor, just graduated from Boot Camp in the Air Force.

Following in my sisters and my dad's as well as Taylors own dads footsteps.

Taylor, now is on his own path of life that has been laid out before him by our precious God. Taylor is following his heart.

Please pray for him. And please pray for my sister and brother-in-law and all our family while he is gone...serving our country. Pray for safety and whatever God puts on your heart.

We miss him
.

He left several days before our dad passed away.

Just For The Faith Of It

My Pastor left us with these words this morning.. and I thought "Oh how awesome!"

So let me share with you.....as you go out this week...

"Do the impossible.... Just for the faith of it."

PS... I also have a BIG favor... my nephew called and needs our prayers.. he's in boot camp as he's now in the Air Force.... he has developed shin splints and needs to be able to run to stay on track to finish up in March.... to be able to get the job he is wanting....so he is begging for us to all pray for him...

of course, Abba's will....not ours....

thank you as always.... you guys are so awesome to pray....

Boot Camp 08

To my precious nephew... William Taylor White...

Monday January 21st, he will be leaving home to serve our country in the Air Force. He is going to be following his grandaddy's and his dad's footsteps. Even as to the job chosen in the Air Force (although his dad went into medicine). Both are so much alike. Artistic, computer savvy and well, good-looking and witty.

My sister, Lynn is going to really need our prayers. She will be losing not only our dad at this time but her little baby boy to the service. Both are hard enough in itself.

I know that Taylor will do well and it will make a future for he and his fiance Candace as she stays back and finishes nursing school.

Needless to say, I am so very proud of Taylor. BTW, he is the one that redid the design on my blog...

So Taylor, I love you with all my heart and will be praying for you every day.
Thank you ahead for what you are about to do.
