Proverbs 31

(Proverbs 31:28)
Her Children arise and called her blessed

Two children grown and gone.

But I hold them close to my heart.

My heart still holds them deep with every beat.

I catch myself wondering what they are doing at a certain

time of the day.

When I know they are coming "home", I prepare a

place for them with all the extras (wondering if they will notice)

I miss them. It's not the same with them gone. And I have

found myself cherishing every second with our son

while he is still young.

Maybe that is what someone meant by a Mother

holds her children's hand for a while but their

hearts forever.

Thank you Lord

For showing us a taste of Your love for us.

PS.... Yes Dad,,, I know that is how much you love me.......

Yes i cross stitched that saying with cute little mittens on a line. I have 3 children so the picture had 3 mittens...1 big one, 1 medium sized and 1 small..just perfect for my 3. It is really hard when they ALL move away. It took me about 2 years to get over it. My place in life was just empty and i did not know what to do. I felt LOST!! You have a career and that will help you. Mine was being a mommy and a wife!! Sandy

Oh how I loved reading this. My two are still here and I know that it will not be for long. They want to spread their wings. I just do not know if I am ready. Do you ever get ready? I love them so. Thanks for your words. Have a good evening.

I have always loved that.
I am now in the place of letting my kids go, and its so hard. They are so precious to me and have grown up so fast. I am a very proud mommy.
Being a mom has been the best job in the world.

Love this post Connie.

And trust me when I say, your children do notice those extra special little things that you do when they come by.
