Out of Step

(Isaiah 55:8) “For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways,"

When I go to the beach, I can sit for hours and hear the wave’s crash, the seagulls call and the wind blow. The ocean is talking to me. My children do not understand this. They do not have this same nature in them.

What about the nature of God? Hearing Him call. We can all have that nature though, if we choose. It may depend on where we are in our walk with our Abba, meaning we many not know its right there for us to grab. Do we rest in the knowledge and wisdom of Him and not of our own abilities?

I ask these questions because: many times what is happening in our life seems to feel like maybe we are living our life as a complete failure. We “think” we are totally out of step with our Lord, the world and of ourselves.

But oh sweet one, look at Jesus! Did it not appear that His life was a complete failure? I mean – He lived in poverty, He never had a home, He never had a wife or family, and He was put to death before His beloved family and friends. By the world standards, He was a complete failure.

But NOT by God’s. This was His plan all along.

These things of God—do not happen by chance, but by triumphant power of a Holy and sovereign Abba.

If your life seems to be falling apart, maybe you are in perfect step with God….

Blessings…

9 little hearts from you...:

Thank you my friend. I needed this. Sometimes we blindly follow Him and when we open our eyes we think "OH,MY! How did I get here? I must have made a mistake." BUt when we step back and realize that it is all, all, all part of His plan we realize that it is not failure, it is just one more step on the journey. Thanks for helping us get back in step!

Connie~ again you've managed to touch that part of me that often cries out to God wondering how He can possibly still use ALL of me for all of Him...even those "mistakes". Blessings....
